Hollow Hopscotch

Once Officer Matze is acquitted from torture charges, he must go home — and face his family. Meanwhile, Emilia searches for her missing father.

Camilo Idrobo’s satirical drama, Hollow Hopscotch, explores two conflicting families in contemporary America, one forcibly separated and the other responsible for that separation.

We made this film by implementing the theatrical techniques of the Group Theatre in a cinematic setting. I was honored to serve as the acting coach, producer, and share a story by credit with Camilo.
