The Chelsea Repertory’s Playwright Lab

Facilitated by Hal Carlton-Ford & Mary Workman, with Broadway playwright Jeremy Kareken (The Lifespan of a Fact)

The Chelsea Rep’s Playwright Lab meets every second Saturday of the month for a reading in front of a live audience, followed by talkbacks and audience queries from Hal Carlton-Ford.

The purpose of this lab is for playwrights to hear the words they have written spoken by professional actors and to hear the audience discuss their experience of the play, as exemplified by Liz Lerman’s Critical Response Process.

If you’re in New York City, want to attend or you have a submission, please contact Hal Carlton-Ford.
